Greetings in the name of our wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Allow me to take this opportunity to say how honored we would be by your
presence at Cross Culture Christian Church. We would love to have you
visit with us.
Our desire is to help people discover and live the new and abundant life
that only Jesus Christ can give. If we can help you on your journey then
please let us know. We hope to be a blessing and encouragement to you
personally in the very near future.

Eastgate Town Center is built on the site of the Brainerd Mission named in honor of David Brainerd a
missionary to the Cherokee Indians. Brainerd’s life was an inspiration to the missionaries serving
here because of his sacrificial love for God and people. The Mission, established in 1817, was built
to reach the Cherokee with the gospel of Jesus Christ and operated successfully for 21 years. It was
shut down by the government’s removal of the Cherokee via the “Trail of Tears” in 1838. It is an
unquenchable spirit of love for God and people that is represented here where servants of Christ
poured out their lives for His gospel. Now 168 years after the close of the Brainerd Mission, this place
has again become a base of operations for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
