THE CODE
The CODE is a guideline for how to act when we meet.
Go with the flow
Do what you are supposed to be doing when you are supposed to be doing it.
Worship when its time to worship, pray when its time to pray, stand when its time to
stand, sit when its time to sit, listen when its time to listen, and talk when its time to
talk.
Keep your hands to yourself
Don’t put your hands on anybody. Couples, do not display public affection by holding
hands, kissing, hugging, sitting on one another, etc. and do not smack, poke, pinch,
or punch anybody for any reason.
Just say “NO” to stupidity
Don’t be stupid and don’t help anybody else be stupid either. Do not bring any form
of drugs or drug paraphernalia including pipes, lighters, and needles. Do not bring
tobacco products like cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, snuff, and dip. Do not
bring any form of alcoholic beverage like beer, wine, or wine coolers. Do not come
stoned, wasted, buzzed, drunk, or high.
Dress for success not sex
Don’t choose to wear clothes that advertise sex. Girls, dress with modesty keeping
your skirts and shorts long enough and your shirt necks high enough. Guys, keep
you pants up over your bottom.
Don’t celebrate the voice of losers
People who are lost in sin will influence others to go astray. Don’t bring, play, or sing
secular music (anything you wouldn’t find in a Christian book store) of any kind.
